Lucile Goulard, who comes from a Champagne line of winemakers, founded the Champagne Proy-Goulard brand with her husband Alexandre Proy in 2012 in Épernay. Lucile looks after the vines and the cellar. Now known as Champagne Lucile Proy, the house farms 6.5 ha of vines spread between the Côte des Blancs, the Saint-Thierry massif (Trigny, Janvry) and around Épernay. The varied soils (clay-limestone, sand-limestone, chalk) offer a wide range of aromas. The wines are fermented in old barrels, then aged for a minimum of 3 years on lees, with very low dosage to preserve the expression of the terroir.
