A wine that's more subtle than thunderous: everything is in half-tone, like a pastel. Discreet touches of spice, tobacco, greengage and vine peach gently dot the nose. The palate, in this register, makes no attempt to overplay its hand. A saline, chalky, lemony brut, supple yet delicate.

Houssart

Managing his micro-vineyard of barely one hectare, Romain Houssart produces 6,000 bottles annually. All of the domaine’s vineyard plots are located in Chamery and offer a great diversity of soils with sands, marls and clay. The champagne is produced in an artisanal manner and Romain does all of the blending, maturation and bottling.
