The Cossy family has been working the vineyards since 1764, but it wasn't until the 1950s that Sophie Cossy's grandparents decided to produce and market their own bottles. For almost 10 years, Sophie has been at the head of the family estate. The vineyard covers around 7 ha divided into 34 plots in several Premier Cru villages (Jouy-lès-Reims, Pargny-lès-Reims, Ville-Dommange, Courmas, Serzy-et-Prin...). Pinot meunier dominates (53%), followed by pinot noir (32%) and chardonnay (15%). Sophie has developed environmentally-friendly viticultural practices (HVE and VDC certifications), limiting the use of chemical products, encouraging biodiversity and grassing depending on the plot.
