Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Formerly known as Champagne Robert Barbichon, the Thomas Barbichon estate is now run by Thomas, the son of Robert and Maryvonne, on a 6-hectare vineyard that has been farmed organically since 2010 and biodynamically since 2012. Twelve plots make up the vineyard, which is primarily planted with Pinot Noir in the Côte des Bar. Thomas intervenes very little; he simply guides the grapes, the juices, the wines, and finally the champagnes until the moment of tasting, following a minimum of three years of aging in the cellar.
