A family business located in Crouttes-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley, founded in 1929 by Philippe Dérot and Yvonne Delugny. Now run by the fourth generation, Laurent and Claire Dérot, it cultivates around 10 ha of vines, mainly Pinot Meunier with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a rare presence of Pinot Gris. The estate applies sustainable viticulture, certified as High Environmental Value (HVE) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC). Their philosophy, known as "La Théorie D", is based on constant adaptation to the terroir and the evolution of the wine.
