This wine captivates with its fresh nose of pear, acacia, pepper, nougat and lemon peel. Its creamy texture unfolds on the palate with a fine acidic tension, promising great drinkability. Aromas of passion fruit, mango and cookie harmonize perfectly with the hazelnut and almond that lift and lengthen it. The balance is remarkably precise, marrying the roundness of the meunier with the lightness of the chardonnay bubble, sublimated by a chalky sensation that adds substance. The juicy, fresh and delicately tangy finish is reminiscent of lime, creating a luminous, joyous experience.

Dérot-Delugny

A family-owned winery located in Crouttes-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley, founded in 1929 by Philippe Dérot and Yvonne Delugny. Now run by the fourth generation, Laurent and Claire Dérot, the estate cultivates approximately 10 hectares of vineyards, primarily Meunier, along with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a small amount of Pinot Gris. This estate practices sustainable viticulture certified under the High Environmental Value (HVE) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) programs. Their philosophy, known as “The D Theory,” is based on constantly adapting to the terroir and the wine’s evolution.
