Devaux
Devaux, formerly Veuve A. Devaux, is the brand name of the Union auboise, a cooperative winery that brings together 800 winegrowers working 1400 ha of vines. Founded in 1846 and located in the heart of the Côte des Bar region, Devaux occupies an 18th-century manor house on the banks of the Seine. "The luxury of time" is the house motto, with a minimum ageing period of five years for the "Collection D" and ten years for its vintages, where aromatic complexity and great finesse are guaranteed. Pinot Noir makes up the majority of the blends, but Chardonnays from Montgueux and the Côte des Blancs also play an important role. The manor house is open to the public.
