The fruit explodes right from the first nose for this perfectly successful 2008. The aromatic palette remains complex and playful, with notes of white peach and citrus zest. Hints of brioche and dried fruit follow. On the palate, the wine is homogeneous and distinguished, with a beautiful retro-olfaction. Chewy, generous and vinous. Still young, it's just waiting to mature. A festive champagne.

Devaux
Founded in 1846 and located in the heart of the Côte des Bar vineyards, in an 18th-century manor house, Champagne Devaux emphasizes its guiding principle, “the luxury of time,” in the production of its wines. These wines benefit from a long aging period—at least 5 years for the “Collection D” and 10 years for its vintages—ensuring aromatic complexity and great finesse. Pinot Noir makes up the vast majority of the blend, combined with Chardonnays from Montgueux and the Côte des Blancs. As a brand of the L’Union Auboise cooperative, the winery dedicates 130 hectares of vineyards to this production, part of which is certified organic.
