Summer fruits (peach, nectarine, greengage) add sweetness to a round, honeyed nose. On aeration, pastry notes add to the greediness. Freshness on the palate, tempered by a well-balanced dosage. Notes of citrus, Menton lemon and Thai basil. We may regret a slight lack of acidity on the finish, but this is nevertheless a very pleasant champagne.

Franck Debut

Franck Debut is based in the town of Hermonville, 10 km northwest of Reims, located in the historic Saint-Thierry mountain range. As a cooperative member and grower, he cultivates just over 8 ha, three-quarters of which are planted on hillsides. The plots benefit from a south-facing exposure to ensure optimal ripeness. The estate has chosen to plant 60% of its vineyards with Meunier, 25% with Pinot Noir, and 15% with Chardonnay. The oldest vines are forty years old, with some being uprooted every two or three years to renew the vineyard. Franck Debut welcomes you for a visit.
