This beautiful cuvée is a fine tribute to the Pinot Noir of the village of Aÿ. On the nose, we find aromas of white fruits and brioche. On the palate, the wine is greedy, the barrel ageing making itself felt and accompanying the wine perfectly. A rich, powerful wine with a perfect balance. A great champagne to enjoy with veal sweetbreads and a few chanterelles

A member of the exclusive Union des Maisons de Champagne (UMC), this family—which has been based in the village of Aÿ since the 17th century—currently cultivates 10 hectares of Grand Cru vineyards. The house uses oak barrels from the Argonne Forest, which gives its champagnes a distinctive elegance and subtle oak character. Winemaking in oval stoneware vats enhances the expression of the terroirs and the wines’ vibrancy. This approach, pioneered by Claude Giraud and now carried on by Emmanuelle, the thirteenth generation of the family, is one worth emulating.
