J. Charpentier
The history of Champagne J. Charpentier is now led by the fourth and fifth generations, headed by Jacky and oenologist Jean-Marc Charpentier. Their strength lies in a skilful blend of wise experience and spirited youth. The Charpentiers have long been committed to a philosophy of respect for the environment. They use 100% grass cover and avoid the use of insecticides. They work on a case-by-case basis, according to what nature has to offer. The house vinifies in stainless steel vats, foudres or barrels, partly without malolactic fermentation, with minimal sulfiting and moderate dosage.
