What a fresh, sunny nose! One imagines hills covered with rhododendrons in bloom (as on the Isle of Aran in Scotland), the honeyed sweetness of lime blossoms on a June evening, the first hays and the roundness of yellow fruit. On aeration, the wood develops aromas of toast, coffee and caramel. The palate retains a springtime freshness, with notes of sweet citrus (blood orange, grapefruit, kumquat) and a pleasant herbaceous touch. The finish is lightly woody, with vanilla tannins.

Pertois-Moriset

The house is located in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger and owns 20 ha of vines, more than half of which are located on the prestigious Côte des Blancs. Here, malolactic fermentations are blocked in search of tension and purity in wines of great origins. The house's wide range has been extended to include a high-level cuvée parcellaire, and new, sober, elegant packaging. The estate will convert to organic farming in 2024.
