This tasty pinot noir from the Côte des Bar region is marked by light gray and copper notes that confirm the cuvée's name. The mousse is abundant and the nose of fresh raspberries and redcurrants is remarkable. The sweetness gives this extra-dry a gourmet roundness. This vinous cuvée has a fresh finish of red fruit and cherry pit. Open with strawberry, raspberry or black forest desserts. And why not spicy exotic dishes?

Of the estate’s 9 hectares, nearly 8 are planted with Pinot Noir, the signature grape variety of the Côte des Bar region, the southernmost wine-growing area in Champagne. The family-owned estate, located in the village of Noé-les-Mallets, has been managed by Vincent Drouilly—a fourth-generation winemaker—since 1996. The wines are aged partly in oak for a minimum of 4 years. The estate adheres to the Terra Vitis charter and is also a member of the “Champagnes de Vignerons” label.
