This original cuvée, dominated by Pinot Meunier, may surprise you with its intentionally high dosage. The nose is characterized by candied lemons and white flowers. The palate is creamy, inevitably sweet, but always mineral and followed by a tangy finish. Ideal with foie gras and fig chutney.

Pierre Courtois

Since his first vinification in 1971, Michael Courtois has lovingly nurtured his 6-hectare vineyard, mainly composed of chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir. The range comprises five cuvées, each expressing the intense, powerful character specific to the clay-limestone terroir of Crouttes-sur-Marne. In 2019, the domaine is extending its cellars and building a sales area using the raw earth from their vineyards, with a view to sustainable development and respect for nature.
