A timid, floral nose that reveals yellow and red fruits and a fine woodiness reminiscent of incense. The palate is straightforward, with an iodized attack and a hint of oyster platter. Citrus and dried fruit follow. The bubbles are present and offer a fairly dynamic style. The finish is long and chiselled. A champagne that plays on an imposing tension and brings us a whiff of sea spray; an ideal partner for palates that like to be invigorated!

Thévenet-Delouvin

Isabelle and Xavier Thévenet like to describe themselves as artisan winemakers guided by values—passion and commitment—instilled in them by their parents and grandparentswhom they think of as they craft their wines—some of which are produced in batches of no more than 500 bottles—from plots located on both banks of the Marne Valley and one on the Grauves terroir south of Épernay on the Côte des Blancs. Spanning about ten hectares dominated by the Meunier grape, their estate now benefits from the expertise of one of their daughters, an oenologist currently working at another champagne house.
