Hints of miso and curry open the nose, which evolves into aromas of breadcrumbs, brioche and white fruit. A comfortable side that is reflected in the ripe yellow fruit. Small bitters balance the dosage on the finish. A good companion for Sunday roast chicken.

Thévenet-Delouvin

Isabelle and Xavier Thévenet like to describe themselves as artisan winemakers guided by values—passion and commitment—instilled in them by their parents and grandparentswhom they think of as they craft their wines—some of which are produced in batches of no more than 500 bottles—from plots located on both banks of the Marne Valley and one on the Grauves terroir south of Épernay on the Côte des Blancs. Spanning about ten hectares dominated by the Meunier grape, their estate now benefits from the expertise of one of their daughters, an oenologist currently working at another champagne house.
